Antique Ember Candle Co. began with a love for old things—the beauty, character, and stories they carry.

I’ve always been drawn to vintage pieces. There’s something special about finding an old glass dish, a beautiful compote, or a piece of Depression-era glass and imagining the life it once had. These pieces were made to be enjoyed, but somewhere along the way, many of them were tucked away, forgotten, or simply no longer had a purpose.

That’s where Antique Ember Candle Co. began.

I started taking those beautiful vintage vessels and giving them a new life as hand-poured soy candles. What began as a creative idea quickly became something much more meaningful. Each vessel is carefully selected, cleaned, and transformed into a one-of-a-kind candle—bringing together the charm of yesterday with the simple comfort of a candle today.

No two vessels are exactly alike. And that’s the beauty of it.

I love knowing that something that may have otherwise been overlooked can become part of someone’s home again. Maybe it becomes a candle on a bedside table, a centerpiece on a dining table, or eventually gets cleaned out and becomes something completely new.

And that idea goes beyond the vessels.

Antique Ember Candle Co. is a faith-based business, rooted in the belief that God brings light, purpose, and beauty to places that may have once felt forgotten or overlooked.

There’s something beautiful about taking what is old and giving it new purpose. It reminds me that our past does not have to define our future. What may seem worn, forgotten, or broken can still have purpose—and can be brought back into the light.

That is what “Bringing the Past to Light” means to me.

It’s more than restoring vintage vessels. It’s a reminder of God’s grace: that He can take what has been overlooked, breathe new purpose into it, and use it for something beautiful.

Every candle is hand-poured in small batches with care, using 100% soy wax, cotton wicks, and thoughtfully chosen fragrances. Our candles are made without parabens or phthalates and are crafted with a focus on a cleaner, more mindful burn.

But more than that, every candle carries a little piece of history with it—giving a beautiful vintage vessel a new purpose and a new glow.
